Jack the Giant Slayer

Jack the Giant Slayer is a pretty good movie. It's not going to win anything at the 2013 oscars. It was not a blockbuster. It's about a poor boy named Jack who loves to read stories about Giants. Ten years after the introduction of the movie, Jack is sent to the kingdom to sell the family horse. A monk takes the horse and in return, the monk gives Jack a sack of beans. When Jack's uncle see's that he didn't get any money for the horse, he has a huge, terrible reaction. He gets so mad, that he throws the sack of beans on to the ground. One bean, however, falls into a crack in the floor. A terrible rain storm hits Jack's village. The water falls into the crack making it grow, into a bean stalk. Not just any old bean stalk, but a giant one, that goes higher then the clouds. Literally. The princess gets stuck in this bean stalk and flies to the top of it, trapped in Jack's house. Now the king gathers all of his best men, and volunteering Jack. They climb up to the top of the stalk, tricking a few people to fall off on the way, because of too much weight. Once the princess is found, another journey awaits, getting down from the bean stalk. They meet and kill a few giants on the way. Once all the two main characters, Isabella, the princess and Jack make it down from the land of the giants, the giants come down, wanting to destroy earth, but first, the kingdom. Isabella run away to the indoor royal cemetery, where they are safe. Or are   they? The giant ruler, you can say, gets into the cemetery and tries to eat them both. Then the big ending, Jack throws his last bean down the giants throat. A bean stalk grows in the giants belly, and pops out of the giants body.
THE END!
I give this movie a 71/2 out of 10. It is a good movie to see with your children.
